Article 131

If a branch of someone’s tree enter the courtyard of his neighbour’s house or into his land, the owner must bend it back, and if he does not, his neighbour can bend it back, and if he does not succeed, he can cut it away from the boundary of his property; and these provisions apply also to roots of trees which enter another’s property
