Article 166

If anyone finds an object on another’s property or on property that has been bought from another and presumes that the article belongs to the proprietor or the former proprietors, he must inform them. If these proprietors claim the object and if there is some proof of their ownership, the object must be returned to them. Otherwise the finder must deal with the object in the manner already prescribed
