Procedure and House Affairs Committee

The standing committee of the House charged with ongoing review of procedure and practice as well as House administration and services. The Committee also establishes the lists of Associate Members from which subcommittee and substitute committee members are eligible to be chosen, acts as a striking committee for other committees, designates votable items on the order of precedence for Private Members'; Business and carries out a variety of other functions concerning private bills and House procedures.Compare: Board of Internal Economy.
